How much harder is the Bush administration going to come down on what it sees as ‘obscenity?” According to the new legislation they have, they’re trying to make it more difficult for anyone in the business of porn to stay in business. So as a porn site, if we have licensed Jenna Jameson pictures in a gallery, we must also track all the above information.

Needless to say, those in the biz are outraged. And rightfully so, I say. They’re doing this under the guise of “protecting children” but the pornography laws already in place do that quite well. As far as I know, there’s been no case of an underage performer taking part in the business for over twenty years.

Hundreds of civil servants from a single goverment department have been disciplined as part of an investigation into the downloading of pornographic images from the internet.

The investigation at the Department of Work and Pensions has led to one criminal conviction and 16 sackings. A further 221 staff have been disciplined for gross or serious misconduct between July 2003 and March 2004.
